Massage therapy is a healing practice which can enhance an individual's wellness and physiological performance. A massage can have a positive impact on the physique and psyche of a person. A shortlist of the amazing effects a massage can have include: shuttling toxins away from soft tissues, improving blood flow, and improving the resilience of the body's many fibers and joints.

Massage therapy has also been known to assist in treating muscle spasms and muscle trauma. The reason this is the case is that a massage reduces the amount of time it takes to recover by improving the flow of the circulatory system. This, in turn, allows the body to recover faster naturally.

A massage at a chiropractic clinic can help with innumerable symptoms such as back pain, healing from medical procedures, headaches and migraines, insomnia, and much more.

Our acupuncturists at Full Potential Chiropractic will conduct a comprehensive health history to see if you would benefit from our care. Physiotherapy helps restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Physiotherapy or "medically directed rehab" helps restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. Our Calgary AB patients include accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as low-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.

Treatment often includes exercise; especially for patients who have been immobilized or who lack flexibility, strength, or endurance. Physiotherapy helps encourage patients to use their muscles to increase their flexibility and range of motion. More advanced exercises focus on improving strength, balance, coordination, and endurance. The goal is to improve how an individual functions at work and at home.

Physiotherapy also helps treat a wide range of disorders; such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.

Growing up in Calgary, my passion for chiropractic care was created through numerous visits to a chiropractor following sports injuries. Chiropractic care helped me perform on the court, field and ice and now my passion is to help others achieve their own health goals. My parents always insisted on academics before athletics and this mindset continued into my post secondary education where I graduated from the University of Calgary Kinesiology Department with Distinction. Following my undergrad, I attended the University of Western States (UWS) in Portland, Oregon where I graduated summa cum laude. During my time at UWS I focused on exposing myself to numerous treatment styles and techniques in order for me to become the best doctor possible. I attended several extra-curricular courses that focused on adjusting, neurology and rehabilitation. One of my proudest chiropractic school moments occurred during my second year when I was selected as president of the rehabilitation club. Weekly presentations in front of my peers helped me develop my communication skills and pushed me to gain a deeper understanding of rehabilitation topics. I’m very happy to be back in Calgary and am excited to start practicing at Full Potential Chiropractic! My treatments focus on patient empowerment and finding the root cause of a patient’s symptoms. I use diversified adjusting, nerve mobilizations, manual therapy and traditional rehabilitation with my patients. When I am not in the clinic I stay active by weight lifting, golfing, alpine skiing and playing hockey. I look forward to working with you at Full Potential Chiropractic!

Dr. Eric was born in Edmonton, but raised in Bragg Creek, just west of Calgary. His passion for Chiropractic care and rehabilitation was discovered through his own personal sport history and accompanying injuries as a varsity volleyball player. Dr. Eric spent 4 years at the University of Calgary (UofC) and 1 year at Red Deer College playing volleyball while pursuing his undergrad in Kinesiology. The injury setbacks resulted in him recovering from two surgeries and spending many hours in rehabilitative settings. These experiences gave him the desire to help individuals holistically through healthcare focused on the individuality of each patient and their unique circumstances. With this, stems his motivation to help patients find the root cause of their pain in order to prevent it from reoccurring. His passion for sports plus the prevention and treatment of injuries is the cornerstone of his passion for Chiropractic care.

Upon graduating from Kinesiology at the UofC, Dr. Eric and his wife spent 3 years down in Portland, Oregon while he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. There he learned a wide range of techniques and is eager to deliver a patient centered and diversified method of Chiropractic treatment.

Moving back to Calgary, Dr. Eric is very excited to start practicing at Full Potential Chiropractic! He looks forward to seeing new patients at the clinic while continuing the pursuit of lifelong learning in the healthcare field.

Dr. Brad’s journey to becoming a Chiropractor was just that…a journey; one that was deliberate and personal!

Originally, Dr. Brad entered the professional world as a draftsman while enjoying the benefits of chiropractic care as a faithful patient.

Upon witnessing an amazing turn-around in his mom’s health after multiple issues and multiple months of no relief from many other avenues, Dr. Brad knew that he had a different calling in life. He left his job as a draftsman and returned to school to become a Chiropractor.

After completing three years of science at the University of Calgary, Dr. Brad spent another four years in California earning his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in September 1994. While there, he was also awarded the Certificate of Clinical Excellence. Upon graduating from Palmer West, he spent time at a clinic in New Mexico learning invaluable techniques in the emerging field of Functional Neurology from a seasoned Chiropractor. After that time, he returned home to Canada and completed his Canadian board exams in August of 1996 and began his Chiropractic career in Calgary in September 1996. Dr. Brad is passionate about the “power of an adjustment” and continues to broaden his knowledge base with continuing education courses including over 600+ hours in functional neurology which is of particular interest to him.

When he is not “saving spines, one adjustment at a time”, Dr. Brad is a devoted family man enjoying time with his wife and two children. Together, they enjoy skiing through the winter months, and camping/hiking in the summer. When time permits, he is an avid golfer!
